{"id":610,"date":"2010-01-20T00:09:32","date_gmt":"2010-01-19T22:09:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iskwew.com\/images\/?p=610"},"modified":"2011-01-02T01:48:48","modified_gmt":"2011-01-02T00:48:48","slug":"my-mosaic-template","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/iskwew.com\/images\/2010\/01\/20\/my-mosaic-template\/","title":{"rendered":"My mosaic template"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have since writing this post changed to a template which is not using the YAPB plugin &#8211; but thought I&#8217;d leave the mosaic template here nevertheless, in case someone wants a Mosaic for YAPB and Phoblogging.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A few people have asked me for my mosaic template.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve made it based on a template the <a href=\"http:\/\/johannes.jarolim.com\/blog\/2008\/07\/24\/your-own-photo-mosaic-page-with-wordpress-and-yapb\/\">plugin author for YAPB has on his page<\/a>, with some adaptations.<\/p>\n<p>The recipe for my version, with square thumbnails:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the .txt file with the page template: <a href=\"http:\/\/iskwew.com\/images\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/tpl.yapb_.mosaic.txt\">My mosaic template<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Rename it to have the extension .php<\/li>\n<li>Upload it to your wp-content\/themes\/phoblog\/ folder<\/li>\n<li>Write a page called Mosaic or whatever you like, and use the template for the page. You find it in the page template dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<li>Publish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition I made some changes to the stylesheet, with <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.squarefour.net\/2009\/05\/28\/introducing-new-wordpress-photoblog-theme\/comment-page-1\/#comment-2945\">a little help from my friends over at the Phoblog-thread<\/a> and some trial and error to get the thumbnails into a square.
