Via Avil I found the following fun meme ((Memes are nice for those of us who don’t have the time/inspiration/concentration to do proper writing.)) :

1 – Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random… Read More”

or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 – Go to Quotations Page and select “random quotations”

or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 – Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”

or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days

Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 – Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Right. Here’s my band and their albumcover:

"theband_thealbumcover"

The band is named after a genus of fungi of all things, and has found its rather brilliant album-title in the words of John F. Kennedy. The cover-photo is by L_Y_R on flickr, called “las nubes, como los sueños, se deforman”. As analbum-cover it works just perfectly.

God bless Rosellinia and Southern efficiency and Northern charm on their way to conquer the music world.

I’m writing this in English since I am going to send it off to Australia, to Martin, the author of HA! HA! HA! I’m on the internet. The name alone captures the ponderings of a generation. In addition he has some really, really good blog advice going on. Do read and learn!

Anyone else can of course also send this meme further on into cyberspace if they want to.
